Le Musée de l’Aurignacien s’associe à l’**Institut National de Recherche en Archéologie Préventive** pour présenter une exposition temporaire consacrée aux métiers de l’archéologie du samedi 4 avril au jeudi 31 décembre 2026.
À travers une série de photographies, l’exposition met en lumière la diversité des métiers de l’archéologie, ses spécificités techniques et la variété des contextes d’interventions. Cette exposition en plein air, invite les visiteurs à découvrir le parcours d’hommes et de femmes travaillant sur diverses périodes et intervenant au quatre coins de la France, parfois très proche de chez nous ! En effet, le territoire de l’Occitanie et de la Haute-Garonne a livré de nombreux vestiges archéologiques.
Une occasion idéale pour découvrir, entre idées reçues et réalités du terrain, si le pinceau, la pelle et la pioche sont réellement les indispensables de l’archéologue !
