Le 25 juin 2025, 3 capsules temporelles sont découvertes par un duo de chercheurs. Un seul indice y figure : l’inscription « 4026 » gravée à leur surface.
Les chercheurs ouvrent les capsules et en sortent 12 objets à la fois familiers et étranges. Ceux-ci sont conservés, documentés et analysés par leurs soins. Leurs recherches les conduisent à une hypothèse inattendue : ces objets ne viennent pas du passé, mais du futur. De plus, il s’agit de jouets !
Au travers d’une narration, volontairement fictionnelle, le visiteur découvrira 12 grandes familles de jouets présentées sous forme de triptyques : un jouet du passé – un du présent – et un du futur.
Cette mise en regard ne cherche pas à prédire l’avenir du jouet, mais à interroger ce que son évolution révèle de nos sociétés : rapport à la matière, à l’industrie, à l’intime et à l’émotion.
Questionnant certains jouets ou objets de l’enfance tels que le doudou, les cartes à jouer, les jouets de construction ou bien les toupies, l’exposition montre un point de vue choisi sur l’évolution potentiel de ces jouets qui ont traversé le temps.
